procrastination

Seriously, I'm the best procrastinator - ever! Not just big things, but the simple things. And then when I actually do whatever it is that I'm procrastinating - I wonder why the hell I waited so long.

Example 1:
I bought a TV when I came back from Portland. I knew that after buying the license I needed to call the TV police and pay a £145.00 license fee. No big deal. So, why did I wait two weeks to do it? I carried the phone number with me all this time, looked at it, and decided oh, I'll do it later. Finally, today I took a whole 2 minutes, made the call and registered. So, why the hell did I wait so long?

I could go on with more examples, but really there's no need. Because I as sit here and write this post I'm actually procrastinating packing for my Amsterdam trip tomorrow. Point made.

Granted it doesn't mean I'm doing nothing all day. Quite the contrary. But now it just sounds like I'm making excuses. So, I think I'm just going to bring this post to a close.
