.... after work I can choose between going home and making dinner or going shopping and buying a pair of cool boots that I was eyeing earlier in the week.
One more hour of work - I've made a promise not to work past 6:30 tonight - make that 18:30 for any Brit that might be reading this. (still trying to get used to the 24 hour time clock)

So that would be military time they use - we use that at work - I'm constantly looking at the clock and counting to see what I would need to write for - say 6:00 or whatever time. Shopping for boots sounds great - did you get them?
Yes, military time. I'm not sure I can get used to that. Which is rather funny considering I'm almost okay driving on the wrong side of the road. Yet I can't figure out what time 20:45 is!
